I first came to Cornwall 20 years ago.
I have been in the beauty industry for 16 years. I started my career as a nail technician and went on to do my level 2 and 3 beauty diploma a few years later. Most recently, I have qualified in Aesthetics & have now been trading in this for two years. I love to learn new services and am always looking to excel within the industry. I love my job and have built some lovely relationships with my clients, resulting in friendships. I have recently taken over my mother’s salon, recently known as vicky’s and I can’t wait to take on this next journey in being the salon owner of Generations.

I have been in this industry for over 25 years.
I started working in a salon in Kettering, where I lived; I then built my own little salon in the garden before moving to Cornwall. I started off again in Cornwall in another salon renting a table, finally opening up my own salon firstly at White acres & then in Indian queens. I have loved working in this industry, but I’m now pleased to see my daughter take over the salon and will still be working alongside her as part of the Generation Team.

I have been a qualified hairdresser for 22years.
My favorite part of my job is bridal hair. I have a real love & passion for this, as I love being a part of their special day.
I love transforming clients’ hair and making them feel confident and happy in themselves.

I first started working at Vicky’s in 2003. My hairdressing career started in 1996 when I qualified as a level 3 stylist.
My favorite part about being a stylist at Vicky’s is living across the road.
I have made lots of friends over the years at Vicky’s and enjoy our regular friendly catch-ups. I have horses that I look after and ride in my spare time. My favorite part about hairdressing is meeting new people and making them feel good.

I have recently qualified for my level 2 Beauty diploma at Truro college. I have always been involved in nails & beauty & I wanted to support the family business. I am now at college studying for my A levels. I work at Generations on Saturdays & during the holidays.
I enjoy traveling & listening to music. My favourite treatment to do is Gel nails. I am looking forward to learning how to do nail extensions in the future.
